Ajmer Road remains one of Jaipur's most discussed residential directions, and its connection with the southern Ring Road is strategically important. The delayed cloverleaf interchange at Mahapura offers a useful lesson: even major, visible infrastructure can depend on a small unresolved land handover.
What caused the delay
In May 2025, reporting said completion of the cloverleaf connecting the Ring Road and Ajmer expressway was held up by pending land transfer from the state government to NHAI. A portion serving Ring Road-bound movement had opened, while the full interchange remained incomplete.
The point is not that the interchange will never finish. It is that institutional and land processes can extend beyond the schedules used in property conversations.
