Good questions save more money than good negotiation. These are the ones we would want a member of our own family to ask before booking any plot, in any project.
About the plot itself
Start with the specific parcel, not the project in general.
- What exactly are the dimensions and total area of this plot?
- Which direction does it face, and what is on each side of it?
- How wide is the road in front of it?
- Is anything about this plot different from the standard layout?
About the development
Then widen the lens to the project as a whole.
- Which infrastructure is complete today and which is still planned?
- How many plots have been sold and how many owners have begun construction?
- What amenities are actually built versus proposed?
About the process
Finally, clarify the mechanics before any money moves.
- What is the sequence of documentation from booking to registration?
- What are the total costs beyond the plot price?
- Who will be my point of contact after booking?
If an answer is 'we will update you'
That is a perfectly acceptable answer — as long as it is given honestly rather than covered with a guess. Details that are not yet confirmed should be described as pending, and confirmed in writing when they are ready.
The takeaway
Write your questions down before the site visit. Buyers who arrive with a list leave with clarity; buyers who arrive without one leave with a brochure.
